We value your children and believe that they are the church of today! From Birth thru Fifth Grade it is our privilege to take care of your children and create a place where your child can genuinely experience the presence of God. We are excited to partner with you in helping your children know God, share His love with others and discover their identity in Christ. Our passion is to grow a new generation of Jesus followers that seek to see his Kingdom come in their homes, community and the whole earth.
Our children’s services are fully staffed with adults and high school students who are committed to teaching and ministering to children. Each Crew member has completed a thorough background check and child safety training. You can be confident that your child is well-cared for and having a great time learning about God while you worship.
Pre-K
Our goal is to encourage preschoolers in a growing, loving relationship with Jesus Christ.
We do this by presenting biblical learning materials with a hands-on approach to help establish in the hearts of the children an active faith toward God and His Word. We teach the simplicity of the Gospel through a variety of stories, crafts, Bible action songs and other activities.
Lil’ K is an interactive multimedia-based curriculum for preschool children ages 3-5.
The teaching video features Lil’ K, and host, Kai, on a journey of discovery as they explore the lesson objective for the day. Kids learn how the Doodad of the Day relates to the objective and how they can live out God’s Word. There are keys to find, chests to open, and the silly and wise Professor Sock, who helps decode the mystery of each lesson’s Bible Story cartoon.
After the DVD portion of the program there are Group Activities provided to round out the lesson. Children receive the take home MAP Book. This application-based review of the Bible Story and lesson is delivered through fun learning activities designed to stimulate parental involvement and help nurture early spiritual formation.
Nursery
In early childhood, we create a loving and calming environment for our little ones to discover and explore. We love getting to know each of them, seeing what captures their attention, and watching them make new friends. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment, allowing us to teach them to love the Lord their God with all their hearts, souls, minds, and strength as they sit, walk, lie down, and get up. As we hold the babies, we worship with them and pray for them to receive all that God has for them in life.
Elementary
This is a place where children 1st-5th grade can discover and develop a passion for God and His Kingdom.
We utilize the Johnny Rogers program which is an interactive multimedia-based curriculum for kids in elementary grades.
Johnny Rogers reaches kids with innovative messages and engaging interactivity. Johnny delivers dynamic lessons with fun, fast-paced humor and application-based Bible lessons that have already impacted tens of thousands of kids.
After large group time, your kids break into small groups for connection and reflection. This time helps children apply God’s Word to their everyday lives. After discussing questions, Map Books are given out; take-home study guides that reinforce the principles of the teaching video with practical examples of how to live out the lesson.
Our Core Passions for Kids:
- Spiritually Healthy Families-We believe that to grow spiritually healthy families, parents must be equipped to be the primary nurturers of their kid’s faith (Deuteronomy 6), that the faith community gets to play a supportive role in this journey (Ephesians 40), and that we must remain dependent on the Holy Spirit to bring about spiritual growth and formation.
- Nurturing Spiritual Growth–We do this by teaching children how to worship, pray, and live out God’s Word. Our desire is that they grow in a passionate relationship with God, know their identity in Christ, learn how to hear His voice, and respond to the calling that He has on their lives.
- Adults Loving Kids- It is essential that we create an environment where kids know they are loved, accepted and important. It is personal relationship and real connection that gives us a platform for spiritual impact in the life of a child.
- Kids Having Fun-If kids are having fun they will want to be there! Fun is the love language of all kids. Our goal is not to get through a lesson so we can say that we did it. Our goal is for the kids to grasp it and be changed by it.
