Knowing God through the Old Testament: Jonah

When God shows mercy to the Jonah’s hated enemies, he is so “exceedingly angry” that he wants to die. God asks a profound question: “Do you do well to be angry” and then leads Jonah to explore and consider: “who deserves mercy?”
